The new-generation C-Class saloon makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, with estate versions follow in the autumn - and these pics show that, despite rumours that it was to be axed, the three-door C-Class Sport Coupe will continue, too. This Sport Coupe is not based on the new W204-series C-Class chassis, though: it's basically an update of the existing car. It will receive general updates to suspension, steering and so on, plus the continuing 156bhp supercharged C180, C200 (184bhp) and C230 (204bhp) petrol engines, and 136bhp C200 CDI and 170bhp C220 CDI diesels. The C280 V6 (231bhp) may be a new option, however. Those waiting for a more sports-focused small Merc, though, had better hang on; the all-new W204-based CLK coupe comes in 2008.
Joer..el otro dia estaba hablando sobre el anuncio que hacen ahora del SportCoupe...y de la cantidad de años que llevan sin apenas tocarlo. Si lo dejan como el que pone Ariel...tela! Que bonito!
