Renault's budget Logan, currently made by subsidiary firm Dacia in Romania, is to come to the UK and Ireland - but it's going to have a facelift even before it arrives. On sale in some left-hand drive markets for a while now, the Logan is to receive a new grille and bumper for 2007, redesigned taillights and a sportier-looking bootlid with a little spoiler. Versions on sale already have been badged, messily, Dacia, by Renault in some western European countries and Dacia in the firm's domestic market. The right-hand drive models, which are to be built in India rather than Romania, will wear the Renault badge, however. The range will consist of saloon, hatchback and boxy, functional estate models, as seen in earlier spy shots. The Logan Steppe concept car suggests that an SUV-type variant is also on the way. Engines for the range will be a 75bhp 1.4, two 1.6-litres (90bhop and 107bhp) or the 1.5 dCi diesel (68bhp). :err: :err:
