Que llantas me recomendais para un Z4

Yo también llevo esas llantas, pero en 17.... son muy chulas

Sobre el equipamiento... hasta los dientes....

Tiene muy buena pinta el coche!!!!!

 

El coche es una pasada...
pero aun asi me arrepiento de no haberle puesto el control de crucero (super util para ir despacio)jejejeje y solo era como 150 euros mas.... :s

Es muy fácil y más barato ponerlo después de tenr el coche.

Si te pica la curiosidad (o te apetece de regalo de reyes), te paso un Briconsejo y verás que es fácil.

Pues si te interesa, sigue estas instrucciones:

The part you need to order is (oddly enough) the Cruise Control Retrofit Kit. The part number is: 65710153114 for Europe and 65710152659 for the USA. The cost was around £127.-

When your kit arrives you should have 2 parts. The cruise control stick and a new cover for under the steering column. The new cover is needed since the existing cover has no vacant slot for the cruise control stick.

Make sure the steering cover you get has the slot cut out for the cruise control stick. When I got my 1st kit BMW gave me the wrong cover, eventually they sent me the right one. If they get difficult the part number for the cover is 32 31 6 761 273 (Europe).

The pic below shows the items you should have and I have highlighted the all important slot (steady on Spokey!!! ).

Total fitting time is around 10mins, including a coffee break. It is the simplest retrofit I have done on the Z4 so far.



STEP 1: Removing the existing steering column cover

Get into the drivers seat and locate a screw on the underside of the steering column in the middle. It is actually in the groove where the steering column height adjust lever is. The pic below shows where to look on the removed cover.

Using a Philips (X) screwdriver undo the screw and keep it somewhere safe like the ashtray.

Then pull down the steering height control lever and pull the steering column fully out towards you and up as high as it goes. Leave the lever in the down position or it will block removal of the cover.

Gently pull the steering column cover down and off. This will take a few seconds as it unclips itself around the join. No excessive force should be needed.

Once you have removed the cover, flip the steering hight control lever back up to secure the steering column. Keep the steering column fully out and up.



Step 2: Getting your bearings

Ok this really isn't a step, I just want to show you the crucial bits you need to use in the next step. The cruise control connector plug is highlighted in the picture below, as is the rail you will need to slide the cruise control stick onto. Again sorry for the fuzzy pictures but you get the idea.



The picture below shows you on the cruise control stick where the electical connector plugs into. Its located at the back on the underside of the cruise control stick.



Step 3: Inserting the cruise control stick

Righty-Ho. Now insert the cruise control stick into the rail shown above and push until you hear a CLICK.



Step 4: Connecting the cable

The connector shown in Step 2 above will only fit into the cruise control stick in one way, so no worries about wiring it up wrong.

Then ease the connector into the socket and gently push it in place.



Once in place it should look like this:



Step 5: Put the new steering cover in place.

Almost done now. Drop the steering height adjust lever and add the new steering cover, ensure it is snuggly fitted all around the steering column and replace the screw you removed at the beginning.

Then readjust the steering column to your favourite position and you are all done.

The cruise control only works above 20mph. Check your car manual before use. If you are having no luck in getting it to work you might need to get BMW to code it up. I'm not aware of anyone who has had to have it done.

Bueno, al grano. PAra los que quieran poner el control de velocidad, es una cosa super-facil de instalar....lo he hecho hasta yo sin romper nada...
Solo hay que retirar la pieza de debajo del volante y sustituirla por la de la foto, con hueco para el mando y enchufar y colocar dicho mando en el auto.
En realidad, cuando compras el kit en la bmw, lo que te venden es solo el mando, pues la funcion y cableado ya estan hechos en el auto. Lo mismo ocurre con los laguna. Tengo un amigo que puso el regulador de velocidad distinto al de la renault...solo tuvo que buscar y colocar una botonera.

Mi consejo es que primero preguuntes por el precio (y descuento) en el foro Movilnorte, dandoles el numero de bastidor, con lo cual te aseguras de que valga para tu auto, ademas de eso, de tener un descuento.
Es que no se si he oido algo de que a partir de cierta fecha, no valia solo con enchufar el mando...consultalo en movilnorte y te aseguras.

cierto,a partir de finales del 2003, si no recuerdo mal.. aunque puede que lo hag... lo que es seguro es que hay una fecha de inflexión, pero asegúrate de cual. ;-)

 

Hola Osiris....... yo tengo un 3.0í como el tuyo, y como veo que tienes el dsp, te pido consejos a ver si tu eres capaz de sacarle mas rendimiento que yo, porq mi coche suena de muerte, pero yo al final siempre termino poniéndolo en los predefinidos.............¿algun consejillo?

JMV, mirare que ecualizador tengo puesto, asi como los efectos del eco y todo eso, los apunto y te cuento. Tambien hay que tener en cuenta que yo lo que mas escucho son mp3 directamente desde el ipod, ya que lo tengo conectado por el puerto del cargador de cds, asi que la calidad de sonido no es la misma al 100% que un cd original, pero vamos, que es muy buena.
Lo miro despues del puente y te cuento, ok?
